Sevinj Samadzade

Independent researcher and consultant. BA in International Relations from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Fred J.Hansen Fellow with specialization in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of San-Diego in USA. Consultant and coordinator for several civil society organizations in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Germany in regional cross border programs focusing on peace-building, conflict awareness as well as gender and civic activism since 2012. As an independent researcher, she studies academic researches and, field-based policy briefs and papers on conflict transformation, peace building, youth and women-peace-security. 

Developed the research on Culture of Peace for CSOs in the South Caucasus, in the frame of the “Strengthening Culture of Peace” programme.

Natia Chankvetadze

Peace and Confidence Building program manager at the Charity Humanitarian Centre “Abkhazeti”. Teacher of Peace Policy Analysis at Tbilisi State University.

Master degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from The University of Manchester and involved in peacebuilding work since 2012. Conducted research on culture of peace and infrastructure for peace and participated in research and study trips to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus. Delivers trainings for school children and university students on peacebuilding techniques and non-formal education for peace.

Developed the research on Culture of Peace for CSOs in the South Caucasus, in the frame of the “Strengthening Culture of Peace” programme.

Milena Abrahamyan

Independent researcher involved with peace work since 2011 as a feminist peace and justice activist, with a focus on building trust and solidarity across the Turkish-Armenian and Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict divides. Former Rotary Peace Fellow at Uppsala University. Current Non-Residential Atlantic Fellow for Social and Economic Equity within the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Founder of the project Beyond Borders: Linking Our Stories, using innovative methods to build trust and solidarity among Turkish, Kurdish and Armenian women.

Bakhtiyar Aslanov

Independent researcher and consultant. BA in International Relations from Khazar University in Azerbaijan. Master Programme in Politics and International Studies, Specialization in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Uppsala University in Sweden. Working in several institutes on peace and conflict studies in Sweden and Germany. His research areas are conflict transformation, mediation, reconciliation and civilian security, Delivers training on topics related to peace and conflict studies.

Developed the research on peace education in the South Caucasus in the frame of the “Strengthening Culture of Peace” programme.

Lusine Poghosyan

Fellow at Rondine Citadel of Peace in Italy and Master’s degree in Peace Studies at the University of Rome Three. Involved in peacebuilding at the Vanadzor-based organization, Peace Dialogue NGO and the Eco Lab Foundation for Sustainable Development and Active Citizenship in Armenia. Experience in peace-building through non-formal education and participation.

Iveta Gogava
